I met Dr Simms Dental's Office when I was still living in Clarkston city. What a Great and professional Dr with a Fantastic lovely team. In this area, you will be very well and quick received,  sometimes Dr Simms will come to you and talk with you like his own colleague asking you some nice question in order to better serve you. Most of Dental Insurance are welcome and accepted. I had a great experience with my dental appointment. The staff was friendly from the beginning, and the hygienist made my cleaning very comfortable. The dentist checked my teeth and gums thoroughly and discussed a couple of areas that I should keep an eye on. We talked about flossing, brushing technique, gum health, and preventing cavities. My visit was great despite other reviews. I’m glad that I decided to experience the office for myself rather than having one perception from the reviews I read. The administrative staff was kind and quick. My initial appointment was only one hour. The X-rays were simple and swift and the exam only lasted a few minutes. I FIRST WENT TO ANOTHER DENTAL OFFICE WHICH WAS ASPEN DENTAL IN DOUGLASVILLE, GA AND THEY TRIED TO OVER CHARGE ME AND TOOK OUT A LOAN WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE.  METRO CHARGED ME FOR THE SAME TREATMENT AND RESULTS AT  ALMOST $3,000 LESS. THE WOMAN BEHIND THE DESK, THE DENTIST, TECHNICIAN, ETC  WERE JUST AWESOME!!! THEY DIDN’T. OVER CHARGE LIKE ASPEN DENTAL. THEY WERE FRIENDLY, UNDERSTANDING, PATIENT, LISTENED TO YOUR CONCERNS, ANSWERED ALL YOUR QUESTIONS,  ETC. OUTSTANDING!!  I LEFT THERE CONFIDENT IN THEM! I unfortunately needed all my teeth removed and had to get dentures!! I was told about this denture place who made good dentures!!! So I took my chances and went for my first consultation! Office was clean even the bathrooms were spotless! After being told what I already knew I accepted him taking all my teeth out and making upper and lower dentures! The day of the surgery I was very nervous in which the office gave me the option to have the laughing gas! Which I quickly said yes to!!!! Dr.Simms and his assistants took care of me without any hesitation! I completely acted like a baby…lol…I was more than happy to give a review to someone who takes care of their patients and care for the well being of the community!!! Office was clean and staff were very friendly! As for Dr.Simms I must say he was very gentle and has very good chair side manners! He explained the treatment he wanted to do for me and made it very clear what was going on in my mouth! I was scared at first but he assured me I’m in good hands!!! That he didn’t lie about!!! This Dental Practice is a hidden gem. The staff are so attentive and have a compassionate and kind demeanor. I wish i had gone here before. As I have gotten older Dr. Sims has expressed the importance of keeping up with the time and taking care of my teeth.  As he puts it "if these don't work, the next ones cost a lot more", lol. I hardly ever write reviews, but after my simple annual cleaning turned into a wonderful memorial experience I had to. I recently switched over to metro Decatur after moving to Atlanta. It was my first time, the staff was so young, well kept and helpful. I believe my assistant name was Kevriel. Beautiful young woman who’s uplifting attitude shined even brighter than her beautiful smile. Everyone was so knowledgeable of the different programs and routines. I recently had work done by Dr. Gary Simms at Metro Decatur Dental Group and was amazed at how gentle he was when it came to  administering the Novocaine; I have always been a scaredy cat when it comes to needles but I did not feel any pain this time...his technique was flawless.   I received my new veneers on my second visit and I was so excited at how perfectly matched the color was to my teeth; it was hard to tell the difference between my teeth and the veneers. My Family and I have been going to Dr. Simms and Metro Decatur-Dental for many years.  From simple check-ups for the kids to major work for my elderly parents, Metro Decatur has provided excellent service from initial visit to follow ups.  (I must say they are very thorough in reminding us of appointments).  Dr. Simms and his staff have treated my entire family as well as the several referrals extremely well. Awesome Dentist! I will refer him to everyone. Dr. Simms is very meticulous with his work and knowledgeable in everything dental. I completely trust him and highly value his experience as a dentist. Me and my children have been going to Dr. Simms for a few years. He is very thorough and knowledgeable at his profession. Dr Simms is very gentle and honestly cares about the well being of his patients. The staff is young but very friendly. I would recommend this dental office to all. You have to overlook the premises though as they are going about a new face-lift to better benefit their patients.

It's a shame how people always want to taint  bad but never mention the good. I like it at this dentist office the staff is very friendly and I had fun chatting with the staff there.
